If your refrigerator stops cooling on a Tuesday morning or your washer quits mid-cycle on a Saturday, you need a repair today — not next week. Here's exactly how same-day appliance repair works at VoltPro, and what you can expect from call to completion.
How the Process Works
Call or Book Online
Call (617) 388-3279 or use our online booking form. Tell us the appliance, the symptom, and your location. Calls before noon almost always result in same-day service.
Confirm Your Window
We'll confirm a 2-hour arrival window that works for your schedule. You'll get a reminder before the tech leaves for your address.
Diagnosis & Upfront Estimate
The technician diagnoses the problem and gives you a clear, itemized estimate before any work begins. No surprises, no pressure.
Repair & Warranty
If you approve, the repair is completed in the same visit in most cases. All qualifying repairs come with a 90-day workmanship warranty.
How Pricing Works
VoltPro charges a flat diagnostic fee for the visit. If you proceed with the repair, that fee is applied toward the total cost. You'll never pay more than the estimate you approved — and there are no hidden trip charges or after-hours markups for standard service areas.
Service Areas
VoltPro serves Greater Boston and the surrounding communities, including Cambridge, Somerville, Newton, Brookline, Quincy, Medford, Watertown, Belmont, Arlington, Waltham, and more. Not sure if we cover your area? Call and ask — we cover more of the metro than most single-operator services.
Why Not the Big Box Stores?
Manufacturer service centers and big-box repair chains typically schedule 5–10 days out and send technicians who service only their own brand. VoltPro technicians are trained across all major brands — Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, Bosch, Maytag, KitchenAid, and more — and we prioritize same-day completion over scheduling convenience for the company.
What to Have Ready
When you call, it helps to have the appliance brand and model number handy (usually on a sticker inside the door or on the back), a description of the symptom, and whether the appliance is making any unusual sounds. This lets us bring the most likely parts on the first visit.
